St. Maarten - January 5, 2009 – Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA), St. Maarten's primary international airport, has once again chosen Ubitech to upgrade its AFTN system to the latest Ubimex ATS Message Handling System (AMHS/AFTN) for mission critical communications with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The intention of this project is to replace the current operational Ubimex AFTN system with the latest generation to enable communications with the FAA first using NADIN II and then NADIN IP when the FAA makes it available internationally. The Ubimex is the only AMHS/AFTN system available on the market with FAA certified NADIN I, II, and IP interfaces.
This project marks the second time that PJIA has trusted Ubitech to deliver its core data communications capabilities, demonstrating Ubitech"s strong focus on customer satisfaction and long term partnership with its customers.
