Gaborone, Botswana - Feb. 1, 2004 - In its ever-expanding global market Botswana Civil Aviation (BCA) has awarded Ubitech Systems as their AFTN supplier. The news comes just a month after Ubitech celebrated 2003 as its most successful year to date.
In July 2003, BCA released an open bid to all AFTN suppliers to provide an automatic, fully redundant AFTN switch with a vast array of workstations located all over Botswana. After several months of careful deliberation and product-by-product comparisons by the executive committee, the ubimex-a™ was regarded as the best product available.
The BCA contract will help demonstrate the ability of Ubitech Systems and its flagship product to adapt to any size AFTN requirement and its readily upgradeable hardware and software will allow BCA to comfortably migrate into the age of AMHS/ATN.
