Lusaka, Zambia - April 16, 2010 - Ubitech announces that it has successfully achieved Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of its Spatia Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) system including Aviation Billing for the National Airports Corporation Limited (NACL) in Zambia. After the systems underwent a comprehensive set of tests, and were found to be operating according to all contract requirements, NACL confidently signed-off on the Acceptance Test Procedure marking Ubitech's second successful SAT in Africa in just three months.
NACL's decision to choose Ubitech’s Spatia AIM system was one of sound choice. Spatia’s family of aeronautical information management modules is Ubitech’s complete solution for the management of aeronautical data. Built on a common platform, Spatia’s modular design gives NACL the ability to enhance their future AIM/AIS capabilities as their operational needs increase or change over time. Presently, NACL can now enjoy the Spatia Dynamic AIS Module which will fully automate their AIS operations for the Notam, Met, PIB, and Flight Planning offices and provides AIS staff with powerful features for analyzing critical aeronautical data in real-time. Furthermore, the Spatia Aviation Billing Module will allow NACL to centralize all their aviation billing data and automate their billing process to ensure compensation for services and products provided, which will result in increased revenue.
