Ottawa, Canada - April 20, 2009 – Ubitech has now commenced work on a contract to implement AMHS in the Republic of Moldova for the Moldavian Air Traffic Services Authority [MOLDATSA]. Upon completion, MOLDATSA will enjoy country-wide AMHS messaging services in total compliance with ICAO & Eurocontrol standards.
Ubitech will deploy its Ubimex ATS Message Handling System [AMHS] at MOLDATSA Headquarters at the Chisinau International Airport as a direct replacement for the legacy AFTN system. The Ubimex derives its name from the term Ubiquitous Message Exchange which perfectly embodies the Ubimex's capability to seamlessly communicate over many mediums regardless of divergent message formats or network protocols. For this reason the Ubimex is well suited to transition MOLDATSA"s AFTN Centre to AMHS while ensuring the continuance of mission-critical communications domestically and with neighbouring countries.
