Ottawa, Canada – May 6, 2005 – After rigorous testing, AIS and technical experts from UAEA de Colombia declared the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of Ubitech InfoStore™ a resounding success. With this approval, the project will now move from Ubitech’s factory in Ottawa, Canada to UAEA’s site in Bogotá, Colombia with installation slated for early June.

FAT marked the end of a four week intensive factory training course where Colombian AIS staff impressed the Ubitech instructors with their technical skills and knowledge of the AIS subject matter. Equally, the FAT participants were impressed with the Ubitech InfoStore™ AIS System and expressed their complete satisfaction with its functionality and operation.

When installed, Ubitech InfoStore™ will be the world’s most powerful AIS database in operation. As a self-contained and centralized repository of NOTAM, OPMET, and Flight Plan data, InfoStore™ ensures that AIS information is always accurate and available to those who need it.

Ubitech InfoStore™ has been a tremendous sales success since its release in late 2004. Colombia will be the first deployment of the latest version of the AIS system with further installations scheduled to be completed in Kuwait, Congo, and Botswana in 2005.
