Cario, Egypt - Nov. 20, 2003 - From November 12-20, 2003, 5 members of NANSC (National Air Navigations Services Co.) of the Arab Republic of Egypt participated in the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of the Ubimex-a™ AFTN switch.

In May 2003, NANSC approved the purchase of an AFTN switch, from Ubitech Systems, to replace their former system. The Ubimex-a™ provided to NANSC Egypt is a fully redundant 128-line switch built upon a 100% UNIX platform, the provided workstations are based on Windows XP™ for ease-of-use. The visiting members of NANSC were impressed by the systems ability to process and divert messages, easy to understand workstations, and automate tasks that were previously done manually.

The FAT was deemed a success by both NANSC and Ubitech Systems and official documents were signed immediately after completion.
