Ottawa, Canada - November 30, 2005 – Ubitech is proud to announce that it has been chosen by the organizers of ATC Maastricht to conduct a seminar about AMHS Messaging titled "Not Just Message Switching.”. Ubitech's co-presenters Ramesh Misra and Sean Flynn will take an in-depth look into some of the overlooked, but increasingly important issues facing ATS Messaging Centres today and in the future. “Not Just Message Switching” will analyze the emerging issues facing ATS Messaging Centres in light of the advent of AMHS and the ATN. The effects of these technologies will have a great impact on messaging requirements for storage and archival, data-mining and searching, disaster recovery and redundancy, as well as scalability requirements when messaging volume is expected to increase to over one million messages per day. Ubitech"s co-presenters will discuss strategies to address each of these issues and look into both the technology that is available and under development to meet the future messaging requirements.

Ramesh Misra P.Eng., is the founder of a number of successful high-tech companies including Ubitech and currently fulfills the role of President. Under his guidance and engineering expertise, Ubitech has developed into a market leader in the ATN, AMHS, AFTN, AIS, and AIP product categories. His vision has allowed Ubitech to remain on the leading edge of aeronautical technology for twenty years.
Sean Flynn B.A.Sc. Engineering, is the principal engineer of Ubitech’s AMHS product the Ubimex 6 which is an X.400 message handling system designed for communication over the ATN. Mr. Flynn brings a wealth of communications experience having previously held the position of a Senior Developer in the telecommunications and security industries. Mr. Flynn is also an Engineering and Software Instructor, teaching courses in advanced software development practices and integrated fundamental networking concepts.
