ATN Migration Made Easy with the Ubitech Portal AMHS Gateway
The Ubitech Portal AMHS Gateway is the simple solution that bridges the gap between AMHS & AFTN. A typcial application for the Ubitech Portal would see it deployed as a peripheral to an AFTN System to provide ATN & AMHS connectivity. It is fully compatible with any 3rd party AFTN System or can be deployed alongside Ubitech's own Ubimex-a AFTN System.
The Ubitech Portal enhances an AFTN System with the following functionality:
- Bi-directional AMHS & AFTN/CIDIN message conversion
- AMHS & AFTN address mapping
- Connection to external ATN circuits or adjacent AMHS Systems
- Syntax validation & error correction
- Traceability & traffic logging
- Control position for monitoring & configuration of the Gateway
- APIs for submission of messages to/from other systems
For many, the use of an AMHS/AFTN Gateway is the appropriate choice
Rather than go through the costly exercise of upgrading an entire AFTN System to AMHS, it is a better decision for many ANSP's to use the Gateway approach.
