Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Analyst will contribute to the quality of Ubitech's products by helping to write test plans, execute testing activities, and provide quality metrics in accordance with the established corporate quality processes.
This is an opportunity to work on our next generation aeronautical information management systems.
- Candidates must have experience executing established test plans to:
- Accurately record and clearly document all actual results compared to expected results.
- Maintain well organized record of test results and generate historical analysis of test results.
- Fully document any unexpected anomalies identified in testing with instruction of how to recreate the anomaly.
- Experience documenting and maintaining a database of known software defects (Bugzilla)
- Be capable of developing and documenting application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Experience writing application instructions for end users
- Provide 2nd level customer support
Education and experience preferred:
- Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar program
- 3+ years as a Software Quality Specialist
- Excellent verbal and written communications - ability to present information to all levels within the company
- Experience with the Test Driven Design process
- Complete knowledge of all phases of Software Development Cycle
- Strong in Windows and Unix-based operating systems
Nice to have:
- Experience working with virtualization software
- Successful projects in both large and small teams
