The Technical System Analyst is responsible for systems implementation, troubleshooting issues, creating knowledge based articles, product documentation, and product training. The Technical System Analyst needs to be thorough, organized, and possess a desire for extensive international travel to destinations such as Europe, Africa, Asia, or South America. As such, the successful candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment and manage time effectively.
The ideal candidate will be someone with Linux/Unix and Oracle experience, strong networking knowledge, exceptional communication skills, excellent organizational skills, very reliable, and strong sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide system implementation and maintenance actives
- Interaction with customers for the purpose of feedback and training
- Conducting factory and site acceptance testing locally and at customer locations
- Prepare technical documentation and training materials
- Technical Support Specialist with Aviation Data communication systems
- Liaison between R&D, marketing, sales, and customers for technical issues
- One to three months international travel for system implementation of Ubitech products
Qualification requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Systems Technology or related discipline
- Familiarity with the software and/or hardware development process
- Strong administration skills with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with Network equipment install and implementation
- Strong networking knowledge of TCP/IP, switches, routing, client/server software applications with Microsoft, Linux & Oracle
- Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
- Experience with Integration and testing of products
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Non-essential assets:
- Certification with Microsoft or Unix Administration
