Ubitech's core technology is our AMHS which we call the Ubimex 6. Designed as a native X.400 based message system and fully compliant with ICAO SARPs, it is the latest release of Ubitech's field-proven ATS messaging technology and ready to communicate over the ATN. The Ubimex 6 is built upon twenty years of Ubimex development and deployment into global AFTN centres. Now with the Ubimex 6 ready to be deployed, Ubitech is positioned well to lead the transition from AFTN to ATN.
Ubitech realizes the need for interoperability between systems within a CAA. For this reason Ubitech has developed a number of products to integrate alongside our AMHS technology. Ubitech now offers the Ubitech InfoStore for AIS data management and Ubitech SkySource our document managment system designed specifically for AIPs. Each of these products offers a new level of functionality for the modern CAA and has made Ubitech a total solutions provider.
Ubitech was incorporated in 1986 and is 100% Canadian owned and managed. Our corporate headquarters is situated in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, also known as Silicon Valley North. Ubitech has been able to draw on the considerable amount of technical expertise available within the region to build its development team and find technical partners.
Though Ubitech is an independent technology provider, well known Aeronautical Industry corporations such as Intelcan Technosystems, Litton Denro, Honeywell Ltd., and Raytheon Canada have sought out and used Ubitech's technology. In other industries, Ubitech technology can be found in a variety of applications provided by Canadian Marconi, SED/Calian, Lexmark, Archana Telecom, Bell Canada, and NorthSeas AMT.
