Ubitech Spatia is a scalable and manageable spatial database of fully validated static AIS data. This data is stored using the AIXM data format within a fully redundant hardware architecture that can be scaled to satisfy both small and large scale applications.
The data within Ubitech Spatia is easily exported in many common formats allowing it to be used as a data or validation source for other aeronautical systems such as:
- Automated NOTAM Systems,
- MET Systems,
- AIP Production Platforms,
- Aeronautical Charting Applications,
- Airspace Design, etc.

With both Standard and Enterprise level deployments, Ubitech Spatia can satisfy the requirements of all customers regardless of size
Ubitech has packaged all the functionality described above into two deployment levels to suit the needs of all customers. Our Enterprise Level Spatia is built upon Oracle Spatial 10g which provides the user with a suite of powerful reporting capabilities and easier integration with other COTS GIS systems.
The Standard Level Spatia provides most of the same functionality as the Enterprise Level without the large application footprint and administrative complexity. It is for customers who don't need database-specific reporting and monitoring capabilties and who would rather have these functions managed by the Spatia application layer.
